Car sales…
I haven’t blogged for a bit cause I been away and there’s still part of me that wonders if it’s a good idea to tell the world (or the few people who may see these blogs) that I’m not home and the house is empty…
But anyway…
So yesterday I had a family from our church come in as they are looking at buying a car that will better fit their family and gear in. I spent a couple of hours test driving cars with them, hanging out and chatting, sometimes we spoke about the cars but most the time it was nice to chat about whatever and it be considered work.
I’ve noticed recently how nice it can be just to stand out in the sunshine chatting to people and it be considered doing your job.
Then today I had this other guy come in, never seen him before, he was half interested in a ute we had for sale and asked what his trade in would be worth. I had a chat to guys about it and they decided it was only worth about $1000, which is in the ballpark of what I was expecting.
So I went and told the guy this and he went nuts!! He said he should come inside and rip the guys head off that said it was only worth that. Then told me he’d been offered $7500 for it, which we don’t believe as it’s clearly not worth that and I nicely said that’s a crazy price, at which he went nuts again saying how crazy this place was etc…
He was very proficient in the use of four letter words too, but this is prime time so i can’t repeat them here…
By the way, this little incident didn’t get me down and make my day worse but in fact kind of made my day as I thought it was the hilarious!! I can’t believe he went nuts and started threatening us just because he thought his car was worth more than it was.

I never get that sort of comment. If the other place is really offering as much as all that, then just go and sell your car there.
.
Problem solved.

Idiot.

I know! I agree totally, just realise that we obviously can’t offer as good a deal and go to the other place!
.
The car he was looking at buying wasn’t even really want he wanted to, so where’s the fuss, just walk away.
