Weekend Away.
Went to our church’s weekend away last weekend, good times.
I enjoy hanging out with people from church outside of Sunday, for some reason it seem to be much easier to get to know people who are new and people that are not so new that you should know by now.
Maybe it’s just doing social things together and that, maybe it’s something else…
Anyway so Friday night we stopped at Wellington Macca’s on the way out cause that’s the thing to do. I think the employees there deserve a pay rise, despite the service being slow and all the other little things. But they deserve it for putting up with kids going nuts and trying to destroy the place, I think these kids are pretty much there from the end of school to closing time too, not really sure though.
We had fun times, going through the bible, mucking around and doing other stuff.
We had a game show extravaganza thing on Saturday night which Nat and I did the MCing of. We didn’t have much time to prepare, actually Nat had to do most of it, so she did some scripting and that and came through with a little funny, and the punters seemed to enjoy the night.
I also learnt that I had dyslexia… I couldn’t read anything properly… but anyway.
So all in all a good weekend.
