A Little of My Weekend
Early, like way too early Saturday morning the little one was crying so the plan was to quickly put him back to sleep then me. But part the way through the process Nat tells me the hot water system is leaking, the worst thing about this is that our system is huge and indoors!
She said something about putting some towels in front of it, so I grunted or something and went back to bed satisfied…
So Saturday morning she sorts it out, we won’t have a new system until Monday so hot water should be back on Tuesday morning. Ah, whatever…
We also turned the tap off to the system and filled the bath with hot water, I almost forgot about it and it almost overflowed, we let some out Saturday night and the kids had fun in a massive bath.
Caleb was a little unsettled by it as he could feel his arms and that floating so held on to the side of the bath for most of it.
All Saturday morning I worked on the Jeep, well ran around town trying to find a press or something that I could buy to push these new bushes in with, but couldn’t find anything.
In the end I had a plan to use one of the bolts that I took off the car, which made me discover that although the outside diameter was correct the inside wasn’t and the bolts didn’t fit through them. So I gave in and packed everything up and went inside annoyed…
Then Sunday I decided that I would be that guy who Twitter’s throughout a sporting event, I forgot, so I’m still not that guy.
Sunday I lead church, and forgot the girls name who was doing the prayer, I had hoped she wouldn’t notice that I called her ‘someone’, somehow she did…
