Conspiracy Theory
I knew it was only a matter of time before the conspiracy theories started circulating about Michael Jackson (SMH today “was Michael Jackson murdered?”).
Of course we all know that MJ isn’t dead. Neither is Elvis, Jimi Hendrix, or Tupac… They’re all hanging out on that secret island for celebrities that fake their own death.
What i love about conspiracy theories is that they always assume that people have more control over life than we actually do… As if people really ever have any idea what the hell is going on anywhere. Try getting the different Telstra departments to talk to each other… no one ever knows what anyone else is doing. Like there’s someone at the top of the food chain who has worked out a master fool-proof plan to help people fake their death or play dumb with my internet account…
Of course maybe this is just the result of a conspiracy to keep me ignorant… I’m that important.

I love a good conspiracy theory too, mainly for the laugh factor.
When we first heard the news Nat said “I bet he isn’t really dead but that he faked his own death to get out of debt”

I first read that as ‘Evie works in a butcher shop…’.
I was very surprised, but respect a solid work ethic in young people.
