I’ve had a twitter account for a couple of years, I think I did about 6 updates in 2007 and nothing since. But on the weekend a friend decided to sign up to twitter and added me to her watch list, so I thought I’d have another crack at it.
The problem I see though is this, Twitter is a website dedicated basically to the same idea as a Facebook status update, the idea being to answer the question “What are you doing?” and I suck at doing Facebook status updates.
But non-the-less, I’ll have a crack…

Correct me if I’m wrong… but do you twitter from your mobile?
And does that also mean there is the technology to put a very small blog on the chronicles from your mobile?

It is a little modern, and has had a lot of media coverage lately, but has been around for quite a while…
You can twitter via different means including your mobile, the twitter website, and of course there’s a Facebook application thingy.
Any yes the technology is there for the mini blog, check out Howie’s Blog, top right under the “Right Now?” heading, that’s Twitter gear…

twitter used to work on mobiles using sms but not its just if you have a twitter application on your phone.
they are planning on getting the sms thing happening in australia again.

It says it costs your standard sms cost, so whatever an international sms costs I suppose.
I’ve sent one, and will send another couple this month just to see what it’ll cost me.
What?? Twitter or Tweet??
I’m not Dr Twitter or anything, but I think some of the cool kids would say that a Tweet is a single update on Twitter… but who knows…

There’s also a site where you can set it up so you can twitter by email… but dunno that that will help by the sound of it…
