It’s hot… milk was a bad choice.
It’s hot today. Really hot.
I’m playing guitar and singing at an outdoor wedding this afternoon, on the sand out at Boat Harbour. It’s going to be ridiculously hot out there. I’m at home in the (relative) cool, and I’m already sweating like the proverbial pig. I hope they like sweat patches.
Remember people, hydrate.

OK, I got through it all with minor sunburn on my nose, and a guitar case full of sand/dust.
Beautiful day though, and my cynicism is being challenged every day. They really ARE a genuinely lovely couple.

Oh, and someone remembered me from the old ‘Now Open Sundays’ days… he bailed me up and asked about the old songs… said he loved ‘Granny Smith’…
I found a copy of our record in the op shop at Cronulla recently. I think that makes us officially ‘old school’, as well as ‘lame’.

Not lame.

In fact, I was in the car with some guys from PBC 2 months ago and traveling down to Kioloa to put up the marquee for SUFM and I had the ipod on shuffle, one of your songs came up and the guy in the back seat asked if we could listen to a certain song off the album (can’t remember which one), so we stopped shuffle and put the album on…
There’s 2 complements there:
Firstly that he recognised your album and wanted to listen to a specific song (he knows your songs!)
And secondly, he wanted to listen to the album.
Old school and mildly famous.
