World’s scariest man?

Peter

Tell me this guy isn’t scary?

Also, I think he’s wearing Dorothy’s shoes, which means he’s probably related to one of the wicked witches and finally took revenge.

The Husqi, the Kwaka, and the Zuki

Dicker

image014.jpgHaven’t had time to blog about this, but a couple of weeks ago Nathan, larry and I went for a bike ride down to Bulli and back. Nathan was on his Husqi (Husqvarna 610 motard), Larry was on Nathan’s Kwaka (Kawasaki ZX9), and I was on the Zuki (Suzuki SV1000s).

I’ve done the ride down that way through the national park quite a few times but this time was extra fun because we all swapped bikes at different legs of the ride. The great part is that they are all very different bikes to ride. The Husqi is a trail bike by nature but fitted out with road wheels. It handles like a dirt bike on tarmac! It’s fun to ride wit plenty of grunt, and would be my choice of bike for flying around a place like London or Paris.

The Kwaka is a race bike. It’s Japanese inline 4 packs a sudden punch and I found that it cornered easily and was light to throw around into corners. This would be my choice for track day rides or weekend warrior style riding.

Then there was the Zuki. I commute on this bike every week, so there was no extra thrill there, but it’s always great to be able to take it out “just because” and put it through it’s paces.

It was also great to ride with Larry. Larry only got hisĀ licenseĀ in London about a year ago and he’s only ridden in London traffic (what a nightmare!) so it was great to be able to show him around some good ol’ uncluttered Sydney roads with plenty of corners, and scenery, and space to move!
