The Chronicles Of…

So work has gotten in the way of blogging, I suppose the whole new experience should actually create a better blogger out of me, but alas it has not…

I have this bad habit when it comes to blogging, like I understand that blogging is about sharing your life, as it is, whatever it may be, but I have a very rare condition called something like better-not-blog-until-i-have-enough-time-and-a-good-subject-that-will-be-interesting-slash-cool-slash-whatever, I’m sure not many bloggers find themselves in a similar position so I suppose that I will need to deal with it alone…

Woe is me, yadda yadda yadda, moving on, suppressing emotions and feelings now…

So, anyway, work…

Is going good, a little slow at the moment, but I’m sure it will bounce back.

I’m now working at a Volkswagen dealership here in Dubbo, Iverach Volkswagen, my main role is Finance & Insurance but I also do a bunch of other things, one of which is sitting in the RTA for hours on end, some may hate the sound of that, but I love to get out of the office. The RTA is a great place to sit and watch how different people react to certain situations. Not being in any great hurry I believe I view the RTA very differently to all the other customers waiting there, of course what helps is being paid to ‘stand in line’ .

I notice the majority of people come to the RTA with very little patience, and with high hopes to get in and out, but I think a couple of the things that they don’t remember is that you only have to go there once a year, maybe twice if you’re unlucky, and the work you are asking the RTA to do could take about half an hour to process, the same as everyone else there, so I say expect a little wait.

It’s just interesting to hear the comments, some a little sly, some blatant, about the amount of time they’ve spent waiting.

So I also do a lot of paperwork too, never had one of those jobs before, or been the organised paperwork kinda guy, but so far so good, staying on top of stuff!!

Not sure what else to say, except learning a bit about cars, still can’t really hold a real car conversation with the guy’s, but maybe one day!
