To VOLKSWAGEN…
I’ve always enjoyed a nice car, but have never really known all that much about them, well I still don’t but hope that that will change soon.
I have become a MASSIVE fan of this car though:
It’s your little, well hatch back kinda car I suppose you would call it.
But here’s a quote on the performance of car:
“The Golf R32′s exceptional 3.2 litre V6 performance engine, delivers a formidable 184kW at 6,300rpm of power and a hefty 320Nm of torque at 2,500 – 3,000rpm.”
How’s that for power to weight ratio!

It may only be a 1.4L, it’s the same size car, but being a Golf GT Sport they decided to twin charge it!
I’m sure that they thought something along the lines of ‘drivers want performance from the moment they put their foot down’, so instead of just whacking a turbo charger in it that would kick in at higher revs they put in a supercharger as well to kick in at the lower revs, thus giving you go from the moment you put your foot down!
PS. They do bigger cars too, like their R50 5.0 L V10 TDI 4WD… ok ok, so that comes in a ‘normal’ model too, a V6…
