Should I have thrown the game of Boules?
I played Boules yesterday afternoon with a couple of friends. Now I don’t profess to be a Boules Master and this doesn’t normally happen, but I was on fire, I was winning almost every game we played.
My question is this, for social reasons, should I have deliberately thrown off every now and then?
Winning is fun and I would really really struggle to deliberately lose, but to make things a little more interesting for those around me maybe I should have thrown the odd stray one.
In situations like these what is the etiquette? Do I allow my fellow competitors to win a little, or do I loudly and proudly boast about each and every successful throw?
